Landscape

The project is located in a large, sloping site characterized by the presence of a very green ravine extended all along its length. Different strategically placed bodies make up the total of a system of parts that while being autonomous function as a whole.

Xinzhao Garden is located on the first floor of Joya Hotel in Lujiazui, Shanghai. It serves as the backdrop of the reception area and tea room measuring approximately 50 meters long. The glass windows frame the garden into a continuous long scroll as guests stroll from one side to another. The linearity of the site is suitable for building a unique atmosphere, but the narrowness nature of the site results in very limited perspectives; designers need to tackle the existing challenges and fulfill the space modeling experience at the same time. We hope to create an appropriate atmosphere for the guests while also stimulating their visual senses, changing their mood slightly as they enter the property.

Passage of Time Garden is located within Anji Archaeology Museum, which sits near Anji Ancient City Ruins and Longshan Yueguo Noble Tombs. Within this design, we strive to balance the relationship between natural and man-made. The site spans from the museum all the way to the surrounding mountainous landscape filled with wildlife. Yet the ambience of the garden takes on an opposite approach with the museum area being more natural and the natural area more man-made. The design follows the museum tour route which is characterized by long hallways that connect different exhibition halls and separate the garden into inner and outer garden. The design language of the exhibition area uses natural forms that are complex and present a very clear object imagery. Then gradually transitions to the outer garden where abstract, man-made elements can be seen.

It is a rest house implanted in a dense pine forest in the city of Pinamar, on land that has a sloping downward slope towards the back.

After living in Manhattan for decades, the owners, a couple nearing retirement, sought to trade the confines of city living for a site with sweeping views of the Hudson River. They wanted a compact home that was as extraordinary as the vista it offered, equipped with just enough space for two.  The house is lifted high in the air to enhance views, with storage spaces and an outdoor recreational zone below.

Hyperlane is a 2.4km multi-level linear sky park, youth culture and lifestyle destination at the heart of the Sichuan Conservatory of Music University in Chengdu. It establishes a vibrant and fun youth, music and life orientated linear space, linking the local transportation hub with the university community and campus in Chengdu. The Urban Gallery, the Initial phase of the project has recently opened. Hyperlane is invested, built, and operated by the core team that once operated Chengdu Taikoo Li project. The overall planning and design intents to create high standards and high-quality design.60% of the commercial products is self-sustaining, adheres to the long-term business philosophy, provides professional support, and realizes long-term commercial value.

Located at Taíba Beach, in the north of Ceará, the Carmel hotel has about 12,000 sqm in outdoor areas. This vast scale allowed a landscape architecture composed of varied spaces for leisure, stroll and contemplation, such as: swimming pool, gazebo, reflecting pool, decks, ground fire, pergolas, paths and garden areas.

Songyang County is rich in Chinese medicinal herbs, which nurture the tradition of Chinese medicine and home-therapy and cultural practices. The historical district in County Urban Center still remains the original fabric and historical buildings such as the Wen Temple, the Wu Temple, the City God Temple, the Medicine Palace, the Heavenly Empress Palace, and the Taibao Palace. The Chinese medicine recreational and cultural district has been planned centered around the Palace of Medicine to introduce practical programs such as medicinal cuisine and teaching, which also integrates with the residential and living areas in the surrounding.​
