Architectures use the forest of light as the body, showing an ecological and quiet spiritual space. The whole building is lively and steady, light and heavy, colorful and pale, representing the collision, convergence and fusion of Xi’an’s future and the history. Many small lights decorated in the sky, natural landscapes and stones, beautiful glass roofs and bright lamp posts create a gorgeous venue together.

Phoenix-Tree Garden / Atelier ZZ

The owner rented a yard in the hutong and asked us to design a teahouse garden. It is hoped that the gardens will include the elements of traditional gardens and have the true feeling of traditional gardens. It is not allowed to change the plane position of the original building and hope to have a phoenix tree.

The narrative of the Nature’s Catalog is to be sensitive to nature pluralities, yet directional to frame moments and metaphor surrounding the tropical setting; it is a place for trackers to rest, meditate, and extend its character as a gazebo into an observation tower amidst the tropical forest. The design also complementing the surrounding, the way in which people experience the gazebo is paramount.

Shanghai Minsheng Wharf Waterfront Landscape and Reconnection / Atelier Liu Yuyang Architects

Since the concept planning design of the Minsheng Art Port in 2016, the Urban Space Art Season and the Pudong Waterfront Reconnection in 2017, the overall greening and lighting improvement of the Minsheng Terminal in 2018 and the ongoing renovation of the Minsheng Ferry Station till 2019, this is more than a public and historical waterfront, but a self-contained and vibrant landscape infrastructure. After nearly two years of landscape renovation and reconnection engeerings, the project has become the latest urban waterfront landmark of Shanghai.

Belgorod is an ordinary city in Eastern Russia with a population of over 350,000 people. It was almost fully rebuilt after World War II; however, its public spaces have not been modernized since Soviet times. The Vezelka River embankment was one such abandoned place. A year ago, it was completely undeveloped, and parts were completely isolated. However, it has changed radically through the “Future Cities” program.
