more details have been announced regarding ‘antares’, the luxury residential tower designed by french architect odile decq. first unveiled at the 2018 venice architecture biennale, the project is currently under construction in barcelona where it will present sweeping views across the city and the adjacent mediterranean sea. as well as the scheme’s distinctive external appearance, decq is also responsible for the project’s interiors.
the first full image of antares, which will comprise a total of 30 stories
antares, which is being developed by the shaftesbury asset management group, will comprise 30 stories and a total of 89 residences. located on avinguda diagonal, one of barcelona’s broadest and most important avenues, the building will offer a selection of 1- to 4-bedroom residences and duplexes. homes will feature spacious balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows, and terraces that provide encompassing views of the catalan capital.

terraces provide encompassing views of the catalan capital
antares will also feature a curated collection of lifestyle and wellness amenities for residents. these include: a sky terrace complete with an infinity pool on the building’s roof; a separate floor of wellness amenities including a state-of-the-art gym, yoga room, indoor pool and sauna, treatment rooms, and relaxation areas; and a spacious private garden area and porte-cochère.
