Dezeen has created a short video guide of high-tech architecture from A to Z as the final part of our high-tech architecture series.

The video version of the A to Z contains many of the architects and buildings highlighted in Dezeen’s series on the high-tech architecture style.

Emerging in Britain during the late 1960s, high-tech buildings typically combined visible structural engineering and emerging industrial technology.

Two of the pioneers of the movement were Norman Foster and Nicholas Grimshaw, who both spoke to Dezeen in video interviews about high-tech architecture.
