Introduction
This project is the interior design of a boutique for a new Japanese cosmetic brand. An old 18th century building in the center of Paris was chosen as first shop. This brand sells around 100 types of cosmetic essence products and each customer can create an original product by mixing products. The name of the brand “en” literally means “Beauty” in Japanese.
TARA MATA Designer Boutique is a fashion store and living hall of Mantai Clothing Company. The project located in Yongkang City, Zhejiang Province, China, is designed by PMT Partners. As a unique business model, fashion buyers’ shop takes the distinctive ideas and lifestyle of target customers tastes as its benchmark in order to protect the unique taste and sense of fashion style.
Christian Dada Taipei is a flagship shop in Taipei which is second dedicated store outside of Japan for the noted fashion house. The 150sqm space uses “Ruins” as a design concept – after the first oversea store in Singapore showing the Japanese origins of the label and distinguishing from other luxury brands, the focus is more on “Dadaism”, the brand grand concept.
In an attempt to capture the identity of Camper and extend the dialogue between the local and the global, the traditional and the pioneer, the new image of its store in Fidenza is based on four natural materials that, through a twist in their application, adopt a new meaning: terracotta tiles, rope, steel and oak. The staging of the design starts from the terracotta tiles, consciously designed to the approximate size of the footwear.
Each eye, a path. Emotional, timeless classicism, sculpted by hands and feelings. The space is conceived as a story told through materials that define atmospheres and sensations. As in a saga, the narration initiated with the milan boutique continues: the spirit is the same, the interpretation absorbs and shapes the genius loci.
The Project is located at Paseo Querétaro Shopping Center, in the city of Santiago de Querétaro, México.
Acclaimed for its abstract worldview, MARLMARL is one of the most dynamic brands of original baby clothing in Japan today and is continuing to expand in both domestic and overseas markets. We worked on the interior design for the brand in conjunction with the opening of a new branch in the Sanjo-street district of Kyoto, Japan’s historic capital.
The Baradari at City Palace Jaipur in Rajasthan cites an insightful example of how design brings inherent value to a place where conventions on conservation and adaptive re-use are looked at through a fresh lens.
