Prototypes are analogous to embryos in different species: While having initial similarities, they singularly transform and create under the effect of rich impulses of life. The creation and transformation are resulted by different relation forces. Therefore, we cannot lose track of these relationships with the impulses of life, while using prototypes. Otherwise, we repeat a dead body: an object in itself, a “tradition” struggling in an absurd rhetorical war with other symbols.

The Polish architect Lucjan Korngold designed the Higienópolis Building in 1946, which was completed in 1949. Korngold settled in the building’s penthouse, where he resided until his death. As an influential figure in São Paulo’s architectural landscape during the 1940s and 1950s, he also designed the CBI Esplanada Building in São Paulo’s city center, the Bom Retiro Commercial Center, and various residential buildings in Higienópolis. The apartments within this building feature an intriguing layout distinguished by a large balcony that extends through the bedrooms, along with a small central patio that admits natural light into the living area.

Taiyo Apartment is a serviced apartment complex located in An Thượng, a popular nightlife neighborhood near Da Nang beach that attracts many expats. This 10-story structure has 40 serviced apartments in three sizes: studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units.

Apartment CK started out as a property investment project, intended for rental, but soon became a personal project for our client, who decided to leave Bali for Lisbon. A heaven of quiet in the vicinity of the busy Avenida da Liberdade.
