Penthouse Interior Design With Orange Accents

Orange accents lift the dark and sophisticated shades of this penthouse interior, designed and visualised by Neiman. The spacious home is set over 145 square metres, located in Rybalsky, Kyiv, Ukraine. The dark woods that cover the floors and make up the en vogue slat feature walls are accompanied by grey decor and fabrics. Stone slabs bring texture into the mix, as well as contributing natural streaked and mottled pattern. The home lighting scheme creates an intimate ambiance through perimeter lighting, spotlights and well placed LED strips under cabinets, inside closets and trimming the staircase design. Come on in and look around this fine example of a penthouse, a sumptuous scheme awaits.

A large modern sofa makes the first splash of orange, right in the centre of an open plan living space. The bright piece of furniture is melded with the rest of the dark interior by the addition of grey scatter cushions. It is also grounded by a soft grey area rug with a smart border design. Black nesting coffee tables fill up the space left void by the L-shape of the sofa. A small side table serves the side of the sofa chaise extension.

A one wall kitchen with island is situated directly behind the orange L-shaped sofa. Dark wood units fill the full height of the back wall for half of its length; a countertop cuts through the other half, which holds the kitchen sink.

The island cooker hood is a cylindrical chimney design for a streamlined look. The oven is located directly under the hob.

A grill and coffee maker area integrated into the larder units on the rear wall, which add a little shine to the dark kitchen design.

There is a dining table wrapped around two sides of the central kitchen island, which seats four diners at its L-shape. The dining chairs sport two different finishes to keep things interesting. An open tread staircase design rises from the open plan main room. Large indoor plants fill the space created beneath it.

The handrail at one side of the staircase is actually a slice made right out of the drywall. LEDs fill the recess with a bright glow. More lighting strips illuminate the edges of the treads. Perimeter lighting draws attention to the wood slat feature wall behind the tv in the lounge.

Two dining room pendant lights fill the space over a rectangular table. Another wood slat tv wall adds character to the room.

There is also a stone feature wall in the dining room. The deep texture of dark grey stone evokes a high end look. Two dark grey planters hold a rejuvenating plume of greenery.

A couple of modern fruit bowls dress the centre of the dining table, and provide an opportunity to throw in a little colour.

One wall of the dining room is lined with cabinets and a countertop with sink.

White interior doors sit flat and flush with white hallway walls.

There is a wood slat accent wall behind the bed in the master suite. The gaps between the slats reveal a dressing area with closet in the space behind.

A chic black bedside table lamp accessorises the unit by the bed. The bed is dressed with monochrome bedclothes and orange pillows.

Another black bedside unit and lamp twins on the other side. The platform bed is upholstered in plush grey fabric, and a grey area rug softens the surrounding floor.

The walk-in wardrobe space behind the wood slat headboard wall has been fitted with a comprehensive closet system of garment rails, shelves and accessory drawers. The open fronted closet is trimmed with LED lighting to illuminate the choices.

Photographic art is propped at floor level. A pair of planters hold mature cacti. The doorway to an ensuite master bathroom lies to the right.

A black framed picture window bathes the modern bathroom in light. Two chrome towel rails descend from the ceiling at each of the twin basins.

The double sink bathroom vanity hugs the floor, with tall vessel basins towering on its top. A black stone backsplash is struck through with white vein.

Inside a second bedroom, a smaller layout holds an orange toned platform bed. Subtle black bedroom pendant lights dangle over small white bedside units.

The wood effect headboard feature wall is lit by perimeter lighting.

A shower room is split by concrete and stone cladding.

Black fixtures punctuate the light grey decor.

One bedroom has been decorated with an abstract mountain mural for a younger member of the family.

Orange pillows and an orange desk chair add a blast of energy to the grey room design.

The kid’s study area has been kitted out with fitted cupboards and shelving units to tidily house the necessary study items and hobby supplies.

A low freestanding media unit serves below the tv in the second double bedroom.

Flush fitted media units fill the tv wall in the kid’s room. Neon lights stripe the adjacent wall.

The tv wall units are backlit to add extra glow in the room, as well as to illuminate a small library of books. Knitted pouffes provide seating in front of the tv, on top of a soft circle rug. A knitted throw is on hand to snuggle up in whilst watching a movie or getting lost in one of those books.
