Instructions for designing a concrete wall depend on whether you are building a plain concrete wall, or a reinforced concrete wall. The tips are similar as those for designing a compression member. You should take into consideration the thickness, the diameter, and the height of the tank wall. Another important points are the circumferential steel, vertical steel (inner or outer face), the base slab and the plastic layer.
