The Bass Museum of Art has appointed the Los Angeles-based architecture practice Johnston Marklee to lead the expansion of its campus in Collins Park, Miami Beach, advancing a long-term vision that integrates architecture, landscape, and contemporary art. Located in Tomioka, Fukushima Prefecture, Sea of Time – TOHOKU is an art and architecture project designed by Japanese architect Tsuyoshi Tane in collaboration with artist Tatsuo Miyajima. Kengo Kuma & Associates has unveiled plans for Qapital, a 32-story mixed-use tower set to rise in Quito, Ecuador, in collaboration with local developer Uribe Schwarzkopf.
