Amorfik’s Living Architecture, a Creative Workshop, is based on the assumption that everything is in motion, nothing is permanence, everything is flow. The intervention site is the half-basement of an existing building in downtown Curitiba, which previously housed three very humid rooms, which were permanently integrated and ventilated to make room for the creative workshop.
A plot with three different levels and a simple structural set were the architectural starting point and the logic that this brutalist house was built. There are three blocks, levels and sectors;
As in previous interventions, and following them, the character and language of the existing building was preserved, for being an integral part of a period industrial complex, still showing a strong symbolic content alive in the city but which extends to the region.

The old building is hidden in the city center. It has three levels, three entrance doors, and a distorted outline. Each floor suggests a different spatial logic but shares the same language, the same materiality, and the same set of banal elements.
An anonymous warehouse, an old recycling complex located in the industrial neighborhood in Barreiro, was selected as the new headquarters of the artist Alexandre Farto a.k.a Vhils, and his team. The new studio should articulate areas of heavy work with materials like wood and metal with office areas for the production team and social areas for everybody.

The OTRO BAR Cambuí project was born from the owners’ desire to create a unique space in the heart of the city, where the brand’s identity was reflected in all aspects of the environment. The final result is the result of a complete renovation in an old house with three floors that, given the dynamics of the original space, the great potential was perceived. The continuous environment is divided between the floors, allowing for a design that brings together different activities that flow in an integrated way in the space.
